Minecraft (Bedrock)
A world that stays up
A dedicated Bedrock Edition server, which is the version on consoles, phones, tablets and Windows — so everyone can join the same world from whatever they own. It runs whether or not the person who built the house is online, and the world lives on your disk rather than in someone's realm subscription.

bedrockInstalling it
Open the dashboard, find it in the App Store and press Install. Or from a terminal on the box:
sudo homebox install bedrock
Good to know
- Add it in the game as a server at this box's LAN address, port 19132. Bedrock is UDP, so a TCP port forward will not work
- Running the server accepts Minecraft's EULA on your behalf — that is what EULA=TRUE below means
- The world is a folder in this module's config. Copy it out before experimenting, because there is no undo in Minecraft
- Console players (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) cannot join a private server directly without extra tooling — that is a platform restriction, not a setting here
