ErsatzTV
Programme your own channels
Schedules your library into live channels and serves them as an IPTV tuner with a full XMLTV guide, so Jellyfin, Plex or a TV app treats them as ordinary channels. Where Tunarr aims at simplicity, this gives you block scheduling, filler between programmes and per-channel logos.

Module
ersatztvInstalling it
Open the dashboard, find it in the App Store and press Install. Or from a terminal on the box:
sudo homebox install ersatztv
Where to open it
| Service | Port | First login |
|---|---|---|
| ErsatzTV | :8409 | No account — it opens straight into the channel list. |
Open it at your box's address with that port — the dashboard links to it directly once it is running.
Good to know
- Add the library as a local folder at /data, then build a collection before you build a channel — a channel with nothing scheduled shows a test pattern
- The tuner is at /iptv/channels.m3u and the guide at /iptv/xmltv.xml on this port
- Transcoding is per viewer and CPU-bound without a GPU, so three people on three channels is three transcodes
