Navidrome
Your music, streamed properly
A fast music server for a library of your own files, with a clean web player and support for the Subsonic API — which means dozens of existing Android, iOS and desktop clients work against it unchanged. Handles a hundred thousand tracks on hardware that would make Plex struggle.

navidromeInstalling it
Open the dashboard, find it in the App Store and press Install. Or from a terminal on the box:
sudo homebox install navidrome
Where to open it
| Service | Port | First login |
|---|---|---|
| Navidrome | :4533 | The first account you create on the first visit becomes the admin. |
Open it at your box's address with that port — the dashboard links to it directly once it is running.
Good to know
- The music folder is mounted read-only: Navidrome never needs to write to your library, and a scanner bug should not be able to
- Any Subsonic client works — substreamer, Symfonium, play:Sub — pointed at this server's address
- First scan of a large library takes a while and the web player looks empty until it finishes; the log tells you where it is
